KNOWN PROBLEMS:

1. [Intermittent] Runtime error R6025 briefly visible on WinProxy exit, seen on small minority of W2K machines. No known effects or side-effects result.

1. HTML Interface. Allows you to make changes to WinProxy from a client computer (otherwise known as remote administration). Basic IP configurations are not included in the remote interface.
2. AccessNow Lite. The forgiving IP machine. Allows even mis-configured clients to connect. We also call it the 'office laptop' feature. Bring your office laptop home and plug it in. You're online with no laptop configuration changes needed.
3. Content-Filtering. Kill Your Spam with our powerful rules-based content-filtering engine. Modify subject or body of any matching email so your downstream email programs know what to do with them.
4. Socks scanning. We have added Socks to the list of protocols that WinProxy can scan for viruses.
5. Stats page. New stats page in the html interface keeps you in the know about numbers of files handled and viruses found.
6. DNS browse and delete. Now you can see both your web cache and your DNS cache at any time.
7. Auto-disabled mapped ports. You can set a mapped port to disable itself after a chosen amount of time. No more waiting around to close those security holes.
8. Edit menu. We've moved some of the more-requested html and text files into the interface where you can edit them.
9. ARP exclusion table. Used in conjunction with AccessNow Lite, this allows you to exempt needed IP addresses from the AccessNow Lite ARP function (standard ARP activities continue).
10. ConnLog. Another way to get some serious logs from your WinProxy firewall.
